18 Oct Portrait workshop at Ballarat Society of Artists
Saturday October 21, 12pm – 4pm
Using willow charcoal, we will discover how to confidently create the correct proportions of the head and face, starting with the skull., and how the facial features are situated. Looking at the importance of tone versus line, and at the shape of shadows and highlights, we will work with a model (Sylvia) for the final half of the session.
